Chanel Fall 2014 RTW in Paris

Yesterday's fashion show was an absolute awe with fantastic looks and an innovative way to "package" your Chanel bag. We've seen photos after photos of the show, details, favorite looks and even the shopping center, and it's no surprise that the anticipation after each picture led me craving more. It would be redundant for me to post photos from the show since it's been streaming through every social media outlet like wild fire. What's better than photos? Film! 

Let's face it, stills are great, but not as fantastic as an actual film to make you feel like you were actually there. Well, not completely there, but close to it. Enjoy!

An exclusive first look of Hedi Silmane's first directional debut for Saint Laurent. He introduced the new Ballerina line in black & white, featuring model Lida Fox in motion. Taking the classic ballerina flat and transforming it with leather and a fennel button up creates this undeniable edge and grunge that is extremely appealing. What better way then to have Silmane's vision and aesthetics to introduce Saint Laurent's new line while conveying a story. Brilliant!

For awhile now, love it grab it wear it has been all about woman and woman's fashion.  Gradually I received comments from a hand full of men who asked me to have one for men's fashion. At first I was intrigued, because men's fashion is just as important as woman's fashion but yet it's been neglected (especially on my site). So, I was quick to say yes and here is my first post. Many more to come so get ready!

As for the fabulously well dressed Mr. Huebl in the interview, he definitely gives an easier outlook for men to be able to dress up and feel confident. All it takes is a phenomenal tailor and a sense of your personal style.

Oh Cara!

 British model, Cara Delevingne is one of the most crazed models in the fashion industry today, so it wasn't a surprise when she land the cover of W Magazine's September issue.

In addition to the cover story (here), W Magazine produced a short fashion film.

VOGUE BEAUTY EPISODE - HANNELI MUSTAPARTA

In today's Vogue beauty episode, Hanneli Mustaparta (photographer, fashion blogger, stylist, & former model) was in search of the perfect eye makeup for the Whitney Art Party & she was inspired by the Chanel Fall 2013 runway makeup looks. Mustaparta & Hannah Bronfman, decided to try the whimsical eye-make up by placing each shimmery glitter on their lash lines.

This is such a fantastic way to mix things up with your makeup, it's fun and eye-catching. Get your glitter on and be the talk of the town!

Each intricate detail that goes into one gown gives me chills. Everything is so elaborate and beautifully made. Imagine how many hours it takes to make one master piece with all those people contributing their skills. Now this is why I say, "fashion is more than just clothes we put on our bodies, it's a piece of art & we're all walking master pieces."

Here's a behind-the-scenes fashion film of the Chanel Fall/Winter 2013-14 Haute Couture fashion show. I recently posted backstage photos of the fashion show (here), and now this film will give you a  feel that you were actually there. The time that Karl and his team put into creating the clothes, hair, makeup, & accessories showed through this film and his fashion show. His point of view came across in each little detail and everything was absolutely perfect!
