TIBI FALL 2014 RTW

Tibi Fall 2014 RTW

These are my favorite looks from Tibi's Fall Collection, I mean where do I even begin? Everything speaks to me, and do you want to know what its saying? It's saying "TAKE ME AND PUT ME ON YOUR BODY RIGHT NOW!"

From hats to oversized coats to the scarf placement, it's all fabulous and all too perfect. The minimal attitude and the simplistic quality is not only attractive, but it's lingering. It makes you gravitate towards it even more. It's like one of those fabulous simple looking chocolate cakes that is delightful at the initial bite, but then the lingering taste makes your taste buds desire the whole entire cake. It's addicting & I can't get enough (cake AND minimalism).

RUN BABY RUN!

Glamour France November 2013
Photographs taken by Adrian Mesko

Model, Sam Laskey hits the streets in simplistic designs and comfy sneakers. It's a total surprise on your feet, an unexpected twist if you will. The minimal sophistication throughout the look is one of falls biggest trends while rocking a more wild and comfortable get up on your feet. From leopard print, metallic, high-tops, to running kicks it's all there and all different. The question is how will YOU style your sneakers?

EXCLUSIVE: HEDI SILMANE'S FIRST FILM FOR SAINT LAURENT

Saint Laurent Fashion Film

An exclusive first look of Hedi Silmane's first directional debut for Saint Laurent. He introduced the new Ballerina line in black & white, featuring model Lida Fox in motion. Taking the classic ballerina flat and transforming it with leather and a fennel button up creates this undeniable edge and grunge that is extremely appealing. What better way then to have Silmane's vision and aesthetics to introduce Saint Laurent's new line while conveying a story. Brilliant!

ISABEL MARANT CRUISE 2014 LOOKBOOK

Isabel Marant Cruise 2014

Casual chic at it's best! Cool, calm and collected is how Marant translates her new Cruise 2014 collection. Pants, coats, and shoes are fabulous, it's the day casual chic look you're going to grab lunch and stroll at the mall with gals with.

The great thing about her pieces is that everything looks comfortable, I mean who doesn't like comfort, right? Comfort is one aspect, but how it comes together is another detail that many have trouble with.  The key is the coat/cover-up and shoes! That's it, plain and simple. The right choices will allow you to transform an ordinary comfortable look into a extraordinary comfortable look!

ROSIE HUNTINGTON-WHITELEY IN LONDON

Rosie Huntington-Whiteley was spotted in London looking comfortable & effortless wearing a jumpsuit, sandals & Giorgio Armani tote. With the right styling, a normal jumpsuit can be transformed into something magical. Even though Rosie could wear anything and make it look amazing, it has to do with great pairings and styling to make a normal outfit look great on anyone.
The theme lately for summer has been effortless chic, which is something I adore more than anything. Being able to look like you barely put effort into your outfit or hair when in fact it took extra effort to look effortless. It's the modern way to show that you cared. So I say invest in great pieces so you can create a look like this on your 'I put effort to look effortless' days.

POWER DRESSING

Stylist Magazine: "Power Dressing"
Photographs taken by Zoltan Tombor

Back in winter of 2012, photographer Zoltan Tombor shot photos of the gorgeous Maud Le Fort during Paris Fashion Week. Tombor captured a fashion story inspired by street style looks for their editorial spread.

Even though this spread is from last year, I decided to bring it back to inspire us for fall/winter. It's right around the corner and I realize that it's still summer and it's still blistering hot outside, but it's better to start early and be prepared. Great prints and vibrant colors embodies a fantastic way to create a twist for the upcoming season. This is a great inspiration for your next shopping trip!

THE WAY I DRESS: MR. JOHANNES HUEBL

The Way I Dress: Mr. Johannes Huebl

For awhile now, love it grab it wear it has been all about woman and woman's fashion.  Gradually I received comments from a hand full of men who asked me to have one for men's fashion. At first I was intrigued, because men's fashion is just as important as woman's fashion but yet it's been neglected (especially on my site). So, I was quick to say yes and here is my first post. Many more to come so get ready!

As for the fabulously well dressed Mr. Huebl in the interview, he definitely gives an easier outlook for men to be able to dress up and feel confident. All it takes is a phenomenal tailor and a sense of your personal style.

Oh Cara!

British model, Cara Delevingne is one of the most crazed models in the fashion industry today, so it wasn't a surprise when she land the cover of W Magazine's September issue.

In addition to the cover story (here), W Magazine produced a short fashion film.
