SPRING 2014 RTW TRENDS | SHEER

From left: Christian Wijants | Antonio Marras | Tocca | Tess Giberson | Cushnie et Ochs | Alberta Ferretti | Balenciaga

The sheer craze this coming up spring has been endless! When you think sheer, it could go incredibly wrong or incredibly chic. This here, are chic ways of tackling the new trend. It has the right amount of sex appeal without screaming for THAT kind of attention. It's the "I'm covered, yet NOT!" trend. You're completely covered, but the sheer notes add that pop of unexpected element that ties everything together.

SPRING 2014 RTW TRENDS | FULL SKIRTS

It's full, it's classic, it's chic, it's the full skirt trend that we've seen numerous times during fashion week. It's the fabulous way of creating a lady-like look with just the snap of the finger (poof...) it's a full skirt. It creates shape for the not so curvy gals and it oozes femininity and class. You could pair this skirt with just about anything! Leather jacket, crop top, dress shirt, I mean, the possibilities are endless. The full skirt will be one of your stables for spring and it's going to be an essential piece in your closet! I promise you!

SPRING 2014 RTW TRENDS | CROP

One of the most crazed and favored trends is the crop top trend and I'm sure many of us are thrilled to see the 90s crop continue for Spring 2014. The trend came down the runway at countless shows and each crop top was paired with many different bottoms. Full skirts, a-line skirts to wide leg pants, it's a great way to mix up your style. Not only for next spring, but for this fall/winter as well!

Dare to bare!

SPRING 2014 RTW TRENDS | PEAK-A-BOO BOTTOMS

From left: Jason Wu | Max Mara | Sportmax | Antonio Marras | Trussardi | Chadwick Bell | Erdem

The peak-a-boo bottoms, as I like to call it! It's an unexpected bottom that is showing off the legs that yo mama gave you (and possibly your bum)! A sheer cut-out revealing a subtle hint of leg that is just teasing us all, OR the whole entire skirt is just plain sheer! Two different ways to peak-a-boo. I mean wearing a sheer bottom could be a lot cooler and breezy for next spring so it could work for climate purposes. But, let's really think about it, how many of us will rock the "I'm wearing a skirt that you can see my underneaths covering my whoo-ha & hee-hee through my skirt," skirt?

Confidence will absolutely have to come into play and who knows maybe I'll rock one with my head held up high, while I strut up and down the supermarket! And with confidence may I add!

SPRING 2014 RTW TRENDS | MINIMAL

Another frequent trend on the runway for Spring 2014, the minimalism trend. The effortless chic with minimal touches. It's clean and crisp, no need for over accessorizing or over the top prints and materials. It's the quintessential way of saying "action speaks louder than words," or should I say "clothes speak louder than words." It's the fashion equivalent of making everyone see that the minimal get up tells people more about the person before they even speak. The simple and confident way of saying "I don't need to fuss with anything else, I'm good as is."

That's complete and utter confidence, no?

SPRING 2014 RTW TRENDS | ALL WHITE

From left: Rachel Zoe | Gianfranco Ferre | Marni | Philipp Plein | Ports 1961 | Mulberry | Ralph Lauren

Fashion week from New York, London, Milan to Paris there has been a reoccurring trend, the ALL WHITE trend. Head to toe with a clean and crisp hue to brighten up spring/summer 2014. The fresh hue appeared at countless shows and each designer created their own twist.

I do love an all white outfit and it's only natural to be excited like a kid in a candy store over this trend. You don't have to wait till next year to rock the all white ensemble. An all winter white get up is in our near future!

BURBERRY PRORSUM SPRING 2014 RTW

Burberry Prorsum Spring 2014 Ready-to-Wear

The common theme of Burberry Prorsum's collection yesterday was pastel, see-through garments, and floral embellishments that embodied feminine qualities. The models walked down one by one with an elegant strut, wearing knee length skirts, paired off with a see-through element. It was a way to show a little peak-a-boo with a conservative flare. Fantastic coats draping near the knee embodied minimalism at its finest. I wouldn't be surprised if fashionable women everywhere started to walk out of their house with nothing but their outer coat and heels, why wait till spring?

PHIL OH STREET STYLE

London, London, London! Fashion week in London has been fantastic thus far and the street style looks has been fabulous. It's safe to say that it's a completely different feel from New York Fashion Week street fashion. An obvious reason has to do with weather and these gals are dressed for the occasion.
