Dressy, edgy & casual are three wildly different style characteristics that are fantastic on its own, yet it's hardly worn together. Why is that? Making the three gel together like glue could be tricky but definitely not unbearable. One of my favorite ways to add a casual element is the basic white tee. It's simple and yet you can dress it up or dress it down and make it cohesive. Typically, I roll the sleeves to add that extra something to elevate the look.

I'm wearing:
Kenar skirt
DKNY t-shirt (similar)
Zara leather moto jacket (similar)
Zara heels (similar)
Ray-ban sunglasses
Gucci wallet

SHORT SUIT & OXFORDS

The other day I decided to do a well needed spring cleaning and in the process I found some great gems. I discovered a variety of great finds, such as, short and pant over-alls, beachwear, and some fabulous belts. Belts that my mom wore in the 80s and this in particular was a real delight. Black and white with leather and fur, and silver hardware. I believe that, that alone was enough said. It's one of those universal belts that could be paired with practically ANYTHING! This piece quickly became my frequent go-to, to add a touch of texture and character to an ordinary look.

I'm wearing:
Zara shorts
DKNY blazer (similar)
La Perla lace bra
Fendi gold chain necklace
Mango oxfords (similar)
Ray-ban sunglasses
Concord watch
Chanel bag

SUSPENDERS

On a typical day, black and white pieces are my quintessential closet staples. Don't get me wrong, I love color but I can only handle color in minimal doses. It's quite a problem, every time I go shopping I always go straight to the vibrant section. The magnificent, over-the-top, vibrantly original, the black and white section! It's quite bright over there, most people can't handle it. It's this odd reflex, all of a sudden I see that arm raise up and immediately grab a piece that is black, white, or neutral. Some may say it's a problem and that I need some form of color therapy.

On the days where I can step out of my comfort zone, the color I would typically go to spice that color palette of mine would be navy or red. I adore the two and I could have it but not everyday, occasional if you will. So, lately I've made an attempt to shake my fashion core and wear COLOR! I took a couple of my closet menswear staples and mixed it with this luscious vintage Elie Tahari skirt & Gucci flats.

I'm wearing:
Elie Tahari skirt
DNKY blazer (similar)
Trafalgar suspenders (similar)
Alexander McQueen sunglasses
Gucci flats
Chanel bag
Concord watch
