CROP TOPPIN' IT!

Happy Easter!

About a month ago, I wore this little number and as I got dressed I was thinking about, "what bag am I going to carry?" I had a strong desire to be hands free, so what better way than to add an extra (longer) chain to my already DIY wallet-on-chain. The best thing about little things like this, is that it's minimal effort with maximum element of "no one will have a WOC like this." Now wouldn't that be nice.

NAVY CROP

The top crop has appealed to the masses and has definitely appreciate in value. Worn throughout every season, the crop top is an investment that definitely won't lose its value. Different style, textures, and color, we want them all! Pair it with anything and you have yourself a fabulous outfit.

BASICS

I had the strongest urge to channel my inner school girl with some great basics. The black blazer and a white button down. They are great to mix and match with to create different looks and it's a definite closet essential. They're easy to dress up or down with a quick change of bottoms and accessories, and now THAT is what you call a great set of basics.

READY FOR SPRING

 
 

It's finally April and it's safe to say that spring is ready for us. Lighter hues and fresh flowers are in stored for us and I'm quite excited. Even though I love to layer my clothes, it would be a nice change for more opened toe shoes and more minis!

BLACK LEATHER

Faux or not, black leather is without a doubt one of my guilty pleasures. Sure, the other colors are great but I always gravitate towards "the black."  I'm quite positive that I'm not alone on this particular desire for more leather and more black. I tend to incorporate leather in any look as much as I can to give that edgy flare that I endlessly adore.

It was a chilly day and I consciously put together this black number with an edgy outlook in mind. I had an urge to wear my oversized men's sweater, so like usual everything HAD to revolve around that one piece of clothing. Derived from that urge, is what we call one of my favorite comfort looks. Not bad right?

CASUALLY COMFORTABLE

Bi-polar weather in California calls for warm and cold weather essentials at your disposal for a quick change. 90 degree blistering heat one week, to odd windy chills the next. With mother nature having a personality of her own, it's only appropriate to be ready for anything.

One of my favorite looks is a great casual one that is comfortable and chic. And sneakers are an ultimate comfort go-to of mine. A fresh white pair could be paired with practically anything, and I do mean ANYTHING! We've seen countless examples in editorials, runway, and street style looks for quite some time now and I think it's safe to say that everyone is on board with "the sneaks."

I absolutely adore it.

DRESSY x EDGY x CASUAL

Dressy, edgy & casual are three wildly different style characteristics that are fantastic on its own, yet it's hardly worn together. Why is that? Making the three gel together like glue could be tricky but definitely not unbearable. One of my favorite ways to add a casual element is the basic white tee. It's simple and yet you can dress it up or dress it down and make it cohesive. Typically, I roll the sleeves to add that extra something to elevate the look.
