MENS FOOTWEAR ON THE LADIES

I do love me a great pair of shoes, and I love it even MORE if it's comfortable with an intense level of chicness! It's a complete win-win situation. These photos are presented to inspire us for the upcoming season, even though the photo of Nicole Richie was in St. Tropez last month she rocked those Saint Laurent shoes like it was winter! I think these bad boys are going to be my go-to shoes this fall. Rolled up skinnies and comfortable footwear is something to bow down to and thank the fashion gods (that's right, you heard me!) . Like I said, it's a definite win-win!

Here are some great shoes to shop for the chilly season:

Duccio Venturi Double monk strap leather brogues
Rupert Sanderson Zohra leather loafers
Alexander Wang Ingrid Oxford (ON SALE!)
Paul Smith loafer
Saint Laurent Bi-colour perforated brogues (on Nicole Richie)
All Black 'Cool Joe' loafer
Opening Ceremony Oxford embossed leather brogues
Zara Leather ankle boot with buckles

GLAMOROUS GRUNGE

Ph: Elle UK

A popular beauty trend we've been seeing for spring/summer 2013 is the glamorous grunge look. Undone and tousled hair was a way of showing effortless chic. It looks effortless, but in fact hair stylists had to create this undone look for fashion shows like Giles, Kenzo and Marni. It wasn't as easy as waking up and looking grunge ready. The glamorous edge is a popular way of showing you don't care, yet you do! It's quite different from beachy hair, because that creates a bronze beach bombshell quality to your entire look. This is more of a put together and polished grunge hair. It sounds odd but it works! It's very model esque don't you think?

Here are some great products and tools to create your tousled look:

Sultra 'Bombshell' Curling Rod (1 inch)
Aveda 'control force' Firm Hold Hair Spray
Aveda 'light elements' Texturizing Creme

Here's a great video of Adam Reed creating the "beautiful, easy 'morning after the night before' texture in your hair..." (here)
