OLDIE BUT GOODIE

I wore this on New Years day and I remembered it being absolutely gorgeous that day. And as I got ready I had the urge to take a bunch of items out of my closet that were tucked away for years. To you know, do the whole new me new year ordeal (ha!). Like this jacket, I got this suede babe when I was in high school. At the moment, Southern California has been bouncing back and forth from low to high 80s everyday, so right now it's not practical, but luckily I have this jacket ready for the unexpected cold. As far as this bag is concerned, I bought this doll around the same time and right when I saw it, it was love at first sight. It is by far the biggest purse I own and because I love little and dainty things it was only natural that I had this gigantic bag tucked away in a dust bag this entire time. It would only make sense to take it out and go around the block to let Vuitton see 2014 for a bit.

Now, the REAL oldie is this sweater, my mom got me this and another exact sweater in grey when I was 6. Yes you read right, SIX! I’m tellin’ you, never toss anything away because you WILL need it in the future. I'm obviously all about keeping EVERYTHING, but another thing I’m an advocate of is a great tuck and go situation. It’s appropriate for any predicament you're in, with the right mix and match and here's a prime example. For a casual day, of course!

I'm wearing:
Ralph Lauren sweater
Bebe jacket
Zara skirt (similar)
H&M boots
Louis Vuitton bag
Ray-Ban sunglasses
Cartier watch

WINTER WHITE

One of my favorite colors to wear is white, especially a winter white number. It's crisp, clean, and elegant, with touches of black here and there to bring everything together. Another favorite of mine is a fabulous full skirt to convey a classic look. From puffy to pleated, I love them all! It's great for a sunny day with the wind blowing your skirt while you sway from side to side as you walk. So dreamy...

A great chunky knit to transform a potential night look (with a full skirt) to a day look. Pairing your skirt with simple jewelry and classic pumps to make it work from work to a day outing with your girlfriends. It's a timeless look that no one will forget.

With an all white number, make sure your fabrics go accordingly with the weather. As well as, mixing textures, it will go a long way when you're rocking the same color from head to toe. When I wear white, the trick I always use is that I don't get afraid of spilling or getting dirty. The more you're fearful of it, the more it will happen. It's quite odd like that...

I'm wearing:
Zara heelsskirt, sweater (similar)

OVERSIZED

Oversized men's sweater is what you need for the chilly weather. Not only is it comfortable and warm, but I've written awhile back (here) of how a woman can transform her look with just a few pieces from a man's wardrobe.  This men's Calvin Klein sweater is one of my favorite go-to sweaters for fall.

What I'm wearing:
Calvin Klein men's sweater (similar)
Lafayette 148 New York shirt (similar)
H&M Paris Collection boots
Zara skirt
Louis Vuitton backpack
Ray-ban sunglasses
Citizen Eco-Drive watch

ROLLED UP TROUSERS

Rolled up and exposed, the ankle that is. A none sexual body part becomes transformed into something sexy and chic when exposed. Now that's a thinker! Ankle exposure and a great pair of shoes (pumps or flats) will make any look, look fabulous.
Roll em' up!

I'm wearing:
Zara blouse (similar)
Zara heels
Tahari jacket
Classiques Entier pants (similar)
Alexander McQueen sunglasses
Louis Vuitton bag
Citizen Eco-Drive watch
