COLOR BLOCKIN' STRAPPIES

One of my favorite colors at the moment is green. Yes, GREEN! Sure, it's the color of life and it may be the color of money and wealth, but mainly it's a Spring color that I absolutely adore. I've been playing around with colors lately and I wore a mint green skirt (post here) that received a wild amount of positive reviews, and at that moment I knew green was making its debut and its here to stay. A great strappy sandal is an obvious choice for Spring/Summer, but these McQueen's are exceptionally special. The color combination and style has got me weak in the knees. For now these bad boys will be bright and vibrant in my dreams, day or night I'll accept it for now (key words, for now!).  But for those who are able to afford these darlings, shop away and enjoy them for me!

SATIN ON SATIN

The best thing about a pant suit is that you can wear it practically on any occasion. You're able to dress it up or dress it down with a quick change of accessories. You don't know what to wear tonight? PANT SUIT! It's one of those universal looks that every women should have. Essentially it's a quintessential closet staple that should be ready and available at all times. Just like the LBD (little black dress), the PS (pant suit) is NECESSARY. Either in different colors, styles, textures, prints, I mean the list just goes on. You can't go wrong with a suit, whether it be a short, pant, or skirt suit, INVEST IN IT immediately! It's timeless and classic, and now THAT is what a women should be.

When people hear pant suit, they think of work, but in my opinion it's far from that. I tend to dress how I feel and what my mood tells me to wear, I obey and do what it says (very demanding, I know!). There's a misconception of work attire being JUST for work, but ladies and gents there's nothing sexier than a fantastic suit when you grab a drink with your pals or buying groceries at the market. There's this confident air about you that WILL make your day better, trust me! It's like magic...

SPARKLE SPARKLE

New Years is literally right around the corner and it's only appropriate to wear a tad bit of sparkle, EVERYWHERE! To just, you know...stay in the New Year spirit.

This blazer is ravishing, I KNOW! And, I got it on sale, I KNOW! At Zara, I KNOW! This babe was just too good to pass up, and I do love a great sparkle sparkle piece and this is definitely cuttin' it. I usually pair masculine and feminine pieces together, but today I decided to stay with the lady-like pieces from head to toe, minus the watch (I had to).

I hope everyone has a blast on New Years Eve and may everyone ring in 2014 with something chic.

WINTER WHITE

One of my favorite colors to wear is white, especially a winter white number. It's crisp, clean, and elegant, with touches of black here and there to bring everything together. Another favorite of mine is a fabulous full skirt to convey a classic look. From puffy to pleated, I love them all! It's great for a sunny day with the wind blowing your skirt while you sway from side to side as you walk. So dreamy...

A great chunky knit to transform a potential night look (with a full skirt) to a day look. Pairing your skirt with simple jewelry and classic pumps to make it work from work to a day outing with your girlfriends. It's a timeless look that no one will forget.

With an all white number, make sure your fabrics go accordingly with the weather. As well as, mixing textures, it will go a long way when you're rocking the same color from head to toe. When I wear white, the trick I always use is that I don't get afraid of spilling or getting dirty. The more you're fearful of it, the more it will happen. It's quite odd like that...

PANT SUIT

I do love a great suit, it's sophisticated and chic in my opinion. In any shape or form, you're able to wear it anywhere and it's THE most essential thing you can have in your closet. Not just because it's a classic look, but you're able to wear it to different outings, from weddings to even regular nights grabbing dinner. It's extremely versatile and that's something to gravitate towards.
A suit, whether it's pant, short, or skirt, it's practical and you're able to change it up by changing your bottom and a quick change of accessories you can transform yourself from day to night or event to event. As far as what's underneath the coat, you could wear ANYTHING. Believe it or not, this particular button-up happens to be my dad's from the 80's (so don't throw anything away). Oversized men's shirts, sweaters, and jackets...I just can't live without them!

ROLLED UP TROUSERS

Rolled up and exposed, the ankle that is. A none sexual body part becomes transformed into something sexy and chic when exposed. Now that's a thinker! Ankle exposure and a great pair of shoes (pumps or flats) will make any look, look fabulous.
Roll em' up!
