Rachel Zoe Pre-Fall 2014

Two of my favorite looks from Zoe's Pre-Fall 2014 collection embody the neutral palette that I so frequently gravitate towards. You have one with tweed and leather that ALREADY speaks to me, but then add a menswear inspired shoe with it? Oh my! On the other hand, there's an all white pant suit that is just ravishing. All white AND pant suit (you heard right), it entails too many of the same things that I adore. Too many, in a good way! Don't get me wrong, the rest of her collection is divine, but these two looks in particular just spoke to me. Actually more like, screamed AT me! NICOLE! NICOLE! NICOLE!

PANT SUIT

 

 I do love a great suit, it's sophisticated and chic in my opinion. In any shape or form, you're able to wear it anywhere and it's THE most essential thing you can have in your closet. Not just because it's a classic look, but you're able to wear it to different outings, from weddings to even regular nights grabbing dinner. It's extremely versatile and that's something to gravitate towards.

A suit, whether it's pant, short, or skirt, it's practical and you're able to change it up by changing your bottom and a quick change of accessories you can transform yourself from day to night or event to event. As far as what's underneath the coat, you could wear ANYTHING. Believe it or not, this particular button-up happens to be my dad's from the 80's (so don't throw anything away). Oversized men's shirts, sweaters, and jackets...I just can't live without them!

PERSONAL PICKS - SUIT UP

When in doubt, suit it! I created this suit pick so you could create your own buzz. This is what you call a power suit (for the ladies). Power color, power accessories & power confidence when you wear an outfit like this. It's classic with a twist of fun colors and edgy accessories to make it more assessable and fun. You could wear this outfit practically anywhere and at anytime. It's practical for work, day shopping, grabbing lunch with the girls, or even at night getting cocktails & dinner. It's versatile, just like how everything in your closet should be.

Vanessa Hudgens created a huge buzz in London with her statement suit. She wore Moschino Fall 2013 brocade suit, Givenchy Nightingale bag (here), Joe's Jeans Ollie pumps (similar & similar) and paired it with a Nashelle necklace.

There's nothing more classic and classy than a well tailored pant suit. You can dress it up or down with the right styling and accessories to make it your own. From day to night, it's a great way to look chic.

DARIA WERBOWY IN ALL WHITE

Daria Werbowy was at the North American premiere of Lancome's Roses By...20 Artists for a Rose at Toronto's First Canadian Place. 

Werbowy wore an all white Celine pant suit and she paired it with white pointed-toe pumps & simple gold jewelry. She also paired it with a bare face with minimal makeup to show off her model features & her hair pulled back with a simple braid. Her look is so simple yet that simplicity is so powerful. I'm sure I've mentioned before that I do love a good pant and skirt suit, and this is exactly what I'm talking about. A simple pant suit could be transformed before your eyes with the right pairing of shoes and accessories. Transform your look from day to night, work to an evening event. Like I've mentioned, so simple yet so POWERFUL. You have this air about you when you wear a power suit like this, it shows that effortless confidence that everyone wish they could have.
